Every great innovation starts with a spark. For our founder, Subham Sasmal, that spark ignited in his childhood through a deep fascination with building small electronic components. This early passion took a formal shape in the 9th grade when he chose Electronics and Hardware as his third language, diving deep into hands-on projects and discovering his true calling.
Eager to expand his knowledge, Subham enrolled in a Diploma in Electrical Engineering at the Jadeshwar Institute of Engineering and Technology in Baleshwar. However, the traditional education system fell short of his practical expectations. While those two years felt academically unfulfilling, they cemented his basic technical foundation. During this period, a sudden financial crisis struck his family due to a severe loss in his father's business. Realizing he had to step up and support his family, Subham decided to channel his practical skills into creating a startup.
Taking matters into his own hands, he conducted extensive research, completed essential business registrations like GST and Udyam, and began his entrepreneurial journey. As the business took its first steps, he shared his vision with his closest friends. Their overwhelming interest and support transformed a solo endeavor into a dedicated team effort.
Inspired by the naming convention of his college, he established the SASMAL GROUP OF INNOVATIONS. Today, as the proud parent company of our flagship retail brand QUEIZON, we bridge the gap between hardcore engineering and premium aesthetics.
